For this month’s Discover & Connect, we visited Saltfish Seafood Restaurant at Houndgate Townhouse Hotel here in Darlington, where we were joined by our special guest speaker Nicky Jolley, the founder of HR2Day Ltd.

With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, it’s safe to say that Nicky knows a thing or two about HR, and we had a fantastic time hearing what she had to say. Needless to say, she did a fantastic job discussing brand values, proactive HR, perceptions of people about HR, the importance of communicating business values to your team and embedding a positive appraisal programme.

Nicky’s words sparked some brilliant conversations about people representing their business and fuelling communication strategies like word-of-mouth, proving just how lined marketing and HR are.
