We chatted to Danielle Croce, Director and co-owner, about marketing at Intasite and how attending "Strategic Marketing: A Framework For Success" impacted the team and their marketing planning process.
To get started, can you tell us a little about your role and responsibilities at Intasite?
I am Danielle Croce, Commercial Director and co-owner at Intasite. My day-to-day responsibilities include securing new clients and maintaining a constant pipeline of new business opportunities. I develop and implement commercial strategies in line with company goals and objectives, with the aim to accelerate growth.
What did marketing look like at Intasite before you attended our Strategic Marketing workshop?
Previously, our company marketing was very much measured by output activities such as Pay Per Click (PPC), Search Engine Optimisation(SEO), Social and PR etc.
What were the main challenges you faced?
The main challenge we faced was time. Due to us being a relatively small team, we don’t currently have a specific role dedicated to marketing, therefore it was generally falling under my role to do as much as possible within the time that allows.
How did you feel during the workshop?
We had a great time at the workshop, it was thought provoking, engaging and most of all fun! Mags brought high energy to the workshop and got everyone involved.
What changes did you make following the workshop?
The workshop was a great opportunity for the management team to get a deeper understanding of what marketing is, and how each team member can contribute to the overall strategy no matter what their role. This could be as little as contacting existing clients, upselling new features or providing knowledge share for further business development opportunities.
How did you find using My Marketing Button after the workshop?
The software is a great way to keep track of your marketing, schedule and track activities. It’s a great way for everyone to contribute to the overall strategy.
How has the training impacted your marketing culture and internal processes?
The workshop helped the team to understand that there is so much more involved when it comes to marketing. It has led us to develop targeted campaigns based on specific industries rather than just a blanket approach.
